The Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH) Informatics Team comprises highly skilled research data managers, research software/systems developers, and academic leadership. With deep domain knowledge, the Team brings equitable, cost-effective access to informatics support for all health researchers, avoiding pitfalls often associated with outsourced solutions. Using standardised technologies, the Team builds informatics solutions that are economical, secure, sustainable, and well-supported for the project lifespan.
The MSPGH Informatics Team has expertise and a demonstrated track record in:
• Cross-sectional studies, cohort studies, research registries, and trials.
• Large-scale participant recruitment, tracking, data capture, and data linkage.
• Bespoke, integrated software for research data collection and management.
• Online risk estimation and decision support tools.
• Online methods for participant and researcher engagement.
• Project planning, grant preparation, publication development, human ethics, and general informatics consultation.
The Team collaborates with local/international health researchers, with reach that spans general practitioners and clinicians, government agencies, policy advisors, industry representatives, and builders of research computing infrastructure.
