Amazon Web Services (AWS) offer a suite of cloud computing resources including infrastructure technologies like compute, storage and databases, as well as emerging technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Research Computing Services provides preconfigured access to AWS’s resources for researchers whose computational requirements cannot be met by the University’s internal services (e.g., Melbourne Research Cloud or Spartan High-Performance Computing). You will also be able leverage the University’s preferential pricing agreement with AWS and access these resources with a substantial discount.
Available to all University of Melbourne researchers (including graduate research students) and external research collaborators with bespoke research requirements.
